Clinical base at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. A 5 year surgical residency provides experience in surgical care from minor procedures to trauma acute care with all subspecialty including treatment.
Residents rotate in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Moncton and Saint John, New Brunswick with community rotations available in Sydney and Kentville, Nova Scotia and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Residents are supported to do independent research or an advanced degree with the Clinical Investigator Program. Resident are mentored by our staff led by Dr. K. Neumann as the General Surgery Research Director.
