Welcome to Western University psychiatry in Windsor! Our program is a small tight-knit group which allows for close interactions with co-residents as well as with staff psychiatrists. The number of residents allows for one-to-one supervision from our faculty. The Windsor program allows for increased unique program opportunities given the size of the program. The Windsor program is known for its robust psychotherapy program and supportive experience on call. There are regular wellness retreats scheduled, as resident wellness is an important aspect of the program.

Residents and visitors alike enjoy the miles of spectacular waterfront parkland that invites walking, cycling, or rollerblading in the city. Windsor being a border city with Detroit, Michigan, places you on the cosmopolitan stage where arts, culture, big league sports and entertainment are just moments away. Best of all, you can access all these “big-city” advantages while living in the relative tranquility of a much smaller, friendlier community. With some 109 different ethnic cultures represented, Windsor is also a place where you will find a broad range of religious practices, cultural events, activities, and cuisines.
