Renseignements généraux

We have a summer retreat to welcome new residents.

We foster a team environment where all members are appreciated and have a voice.

The city is big enough to have many amenities and small enough to avoid big city problems like long commutes.

Our two main orthopedic hospitals are closely located and easily accessible.

Bridge in the foreground of the city
Saskatoon
Saskatoon is a city straddling the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatchewan, Canada. North along the riverside Meewasin Trail is Wanuskewin Heritage Park, with exhibitions exploring indigenous culture. On the trail’s southern stretch, native wildlife inhabit the prairie grasslands of Beaver Creek Conservation Area. East of the river, the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo has manicured gardens and a children’s zoo.

Expérience des résidents

Nebojsa Kuljic
PGY-3
Foremost is the make-up of our program. Between the staff and resident cohorts, our group is filled with encouraging and friendly faces, that make attending work a joy. My new best friends are those I work with at all levels. Our program size facilitates early and immediate integration into the role of a surgeon, both from a decision making perspective but also operative experience.
