The 5-year TMU Anesthesiology Program is designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive experience, ensuring our residents are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the field of Anesthesiology, as highlighted below.

Foundational Knowledge and Skills:

  • Intensive orientation program to introduce core anesthesiology principles.
  • Hands-on training in airway management, intravenous access, and advanced life support.
  • Simulation-based learning to practice anesthesia techniques in a controlled environment.

Clinical Rotations:

  • Specialized rotations in critical care, pain management, and regional anesthesia.
  • Rotations through the Preoperative Assessment Clinic and the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to understand comprehensive patient care.

Mentorship and Support:

  • Dedicated faculty mentors to provide guidance and support throughout the residency.
