Program length of training does not exceed the Royal College or College of Family Physicians of Canada standard.

Training sites include Vancouver General Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital, the Mary Pack Arthritis Centre, and various community rheumatology offices. There are opportunities in the R5 year to have electives outside the Vancouver Lower Mainland (ie Kelowna, Nanaimo, the Traveling Consultation Service which goes to remote communities).
